Our Story

Moyo farms is located in Manica province in Mozambique, our current production is focused on Macadamia, Oranges and Litchies.
​
Our farm which is still under rehabilitation will reach optimal production by 2025. Our vision is to process our production in a sustainable way with a focus on empowering women in our community.

Chicamba Farm is situated on the shores of the mighty Chicamba Lake where oranges grow under the perfect sunny slopes.
Nyazonia is situated on the Nyazonia River 200km north of Chicamba where our fields of litchis and macadamias grow.
Donate a Tree
Moyo Farms is not only invested in food production but also reforestation. Unfortunately the incredible growth rate in this tropical area is not enough to counter act the deforestation that is happening yearly. Planting a tree can be one of the smallest but most powerful gestures for Mother Earth that can provide not only food but shade and timber. On average, a mature tree can absorb about 48 pounds (22 kilograms) of carbon dioxide per year. The average annual carbon emissions per person are around 16 metric tons (16,000 kilograms). For a single person, on average, you would need approximately 727 mature trees to become carbon neutral.

You can be part of making a difference by sponsoring a tree of your choice, from a fruit tree that can provide food and additional income in the community to a hard wood tree as part of our reforestation program. On donating a tree you will receive an exact GPS location of your tree including a certificate for your contribution as well as the acknowledgment of your contribution to becoming carbon neutral.

Invest in Moyo Farms
For a nominal investment you can be part of orchid development on our farm. Your investment will take care of establishing macadamia trees and caring for them until they produce in 6 years time. Your return on investment will be guaranteed at 200% in 6 years. The cost to care for a single tree until your return of investment is 100$, after which you will receive a return and profit of 200$.
Investment blocks will only be in blocks of 300 trees
